Metro commissioned Patriksson Communication to handle the launch of their monthly fashion magazine, Metro Mode. Our objectives were to strengthen Metros brand and credibility within the fashion industry and create a fun launch event that would not easily be forgotten. From concept development to total event production, we produced a much appreciated launch party at Morfar Ginkos in Södermalm. The event epitomized the spirit of Metro Mode – a high level of fashion know-how with a street smart approach – featuring champagne on ice in low ball glasses, popcorn and cake pops, a performance by Calle Real and the dance promoting tunes of DJ Krull. Tattoo and graffiti artists Salong Betong created a mural over Metro Mode t-shirts during the evening that were later sent to readers. Guests were treated to goodie bags and hot dogs as they left the party during the wee hours of the night. The launch was a success and assisted in the establishment of Metro Mode as an influential fashion publication among readers, advertisers and the fashion industry.
